Today the kindergarten class will use the computers to enjoy some interactive Thanksgiving games and activities. They are learning about the first Thanksgiving in their classroom and are looking forward to their Thanksgiving feast!
Today students will use a fun interactive learning tool called Keyseeker to begin building their introductory keyboarding skills. Keyseeker helps the students recognize letters on a keyboard and prompts them to use the correct hand to strike the key. The keyboard is split into purple for left and green for right hand. The students use colored bands on their wrists to help remember which hand to use for the various letters.
Today the kindergarten class will explore the Starfall Word Families Learn to Read activity linked below and will use this interactive site to create, sound out, and read words in a variety of fun formats.
