Today students will use a fun interactive learning tool called Keyseeker to begin building their introductory keyboarding skills. Keyseeker helps the students recognize letters on a keyboard and prompts them to use the correct hand to strike the key. The keyboard is split into purple for left and green for right hand. The students use colored bands on their wrists to help remember which hand to use for the various letters.
Today the kindergarten class will explore the Starfall Word Families Learn to Read activity linked below and will use this interactive site to create, sound out, and read words in a variety of fun formats.

Today students will continue to develop mouse skills and knowledge of hyperlinks while exploring a great interactive website called Poisson Rouge. The site includes fun activities that highlight a variety of interactive areas of exploration, including math skills, art, music, and multiple languages.
Today the kindergarten students will use the computers to learn more about the life cycle of pumpkins and use interactive activities to decorate pumpkins as they practice their mouse skills.
The kindergarten class has been studying about apples in their classroom. Today we will focus on apples, apple trees, and Johnny Appleseed during our computer time by interacting with a variety of videos, activities, and games.
