This week marks the 113th anniversary of Dr. Seuss' birth. Since 1998, the National Education Association (NEA) has designated March 2 as Read Across America day. In honor of Dr. Seuss' birthday this week and as part of our Grymes Book Week celebration, students will play educational games and learn more about Dr. Seuss' many books as they explore the website below.
February is National Children's Dental Health Month. Today students will enjoy activities in computer class to learn about their teeth and how to keep their teeth healthy.
Kindergarten students learned about the states of matter - solids, liquids, and gases - in their classroom. Today they will have an opportunity to practice what they learned about states of matter with some computer activities while reinforcing computer skills.
Today in kindergarten we will continue with our beginning coding concepts activities that were introduced during Hour of Code for Computer Science Education Week in December. Students will continue exploring with Kodable and then will try a new App called Puppy Adventure.
