Last week several students were not comfortable using the Shift Key and Space Bar while typing their math word problems. Today we will use Pixie to practice using those special keys. After I have demonstrated how to use those keys, students will create a text block, then type their name and a holiday greeting that will include capital letters and spaces. They will then create a holiday picture using a variety of Pixie features.
Today students will use features of Pixie software to create and illustrate an addition word problem that they recently wrote in their classroom. During this project they will learn how to add a text block and then type in their word problem. They will then use the stamp feature in Pixie for their word problem illustrations.
