Let's try and finish up the East Coast States. I went ahead and published all your sites and linked them to the US Atlas site which I created. Take a look and see what you think: http://usatlas.weebly.com/
The fourth grade class will be creating a US Atlas. Today, each student will be creating a webpage of their East Coast state. Here is an example of what they will be creating. You can click on Virginia (at the bottom of the webpage) to see an example of what a "state" will look like when finish. The students will login to Weebly: Students should click on "edit site" for the site with their name. Each site has been pre-populated with the atlas template. Students should add the information on their state, change the images, add videos, and change the header. Here is a sheet they can use to take notes on their state:
Students should use Fact Monster when researching their state.

Congratulations! As fourth graders, you will be the "older" partner this year! The first partner day is on September 28th. You will meet your partner for the year on that day. You will be creating a website to introduce yourself, but please do NOT tell them who you are! It's a mystery! They will guess who their partner is based on the clues. You must include 3 clues about yourself and share at least three other things that they may not know about you. Make sure you get your edited Mystery Partner homework and a copy of the project Rubric before you start. Here's a link to the Mystery Partner Weebly Project. Have fun with it!
