When a soccer player kicks the ball into the goal, it is an "event" that causes the score to go up and for the player to do a celebration dance.
Classroom Example
How could we change our classroom script to be “event driven”. Let’s say the class runs the script only when the teacher raises his/her hand. Then the teacher raising his/her hand is the event that causes the class to run the classroom script.
