There are so many great tools available and it would be impossible to post them all on this site. So where do I start when I need something? I usually go to a search engine and type in: CNET <type of tool>. For example, if I'm looking for an audio editor, I would type in: CNET audio editor. You can also add the word "free". I click on one of the reviews. If I want to see other similar products, then I click on the link under "Product Rankings". I like CNET because it is a trusted site and they make sure the downloads are secure and virus free.

New features are constantly being added to tools you may be interested in using. So how do you go about learning to use a new tool? Here are some of the things I do:
- First, I go to official site for the tool and look under Support. Usually you'll find a user's guide or "how to" information.
- Then do a search (using a tool like Google) for "<tool name> how to video". For example "Weebly how to video".
- Sometimes I'll do a similar search in YouTube for "<tool name> how to". For example "Dipity how to". Sometimes you'll see a "channel" created by the company with a series of official videos.
- If you want a guide, you can do search on "<tool name> how to". Many times this will give you text information on how to use the product.
- Finally, if you have a specific question about a feature, you would search on <tool name> how to <feature>. For example "Audacity how to chipmunk voice".
Here are some tips on how to learn from an online video:
- I usually watch the entire video.
- Then I watch it again, pausing after each step. After I've mastered the step, then I watch the next step.
