Make sure you have an image to use for your Blabberize. Use Audacity to record your narrative and use Blabberize to make your Imaginary Greek god come to life. Ask me for a login & password.
Most of the students have either finished or are finishing up their Travel Into History project. Most of them have finished researching their selected Greek god or goddess (e.g. Zeus, Hera, etc.). The purpose of this step is for them to understand how Greek gods and goddesses are described (e.g. family, special powers, etc.) and Greek myths. Once they understand, then they can create their own Greek god or goddess. They will write a narrative about their god/goddess and record it. The narrative will include the following types of information:
They will use Audacity to change the way their voice sounds. And finally, they will use Blabberize to bring their god to life. Here is an example I created: All the student should be working on their Travel Into History project. They will pick a topic from History class and superimpose an image of themselves using Paint.NET visiting that location (or thing). They will then do research and write-up a fictitious visit using Microsoft Word. Once reviewed by Mr. Pitera, the students will post the picture and the article on their personal website. If they are done, they can work on their personal websites. Click on the image below if you have questions on how to use Paint.NET. There are three instructional videos at the bottom of the site that show you how to Chroma Key the background, superimpose and layer images, crop, and save files using Paint.NET.
