Watch the Basho video about seasons. You may watch it with CC on and with translations. Open the attached pdf and be prepared to complete the worksheet for next Spanish class.
Students will learn basic functions of Microsoft Word, such as word alignment, spacing, and changing font style and color. They will also practice keyboarding on Typing Agent."The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog."
We learned how to open and close MS Word and change font sizes. We also used the spreadsheet to practice typing. With our left pinky on A and our right index finger on J, we practiced "ASD JKL +1". For example "asd jkl bob". Students know to keep hands as still as possible and the hands on the home keys and to use the thumb for the spacebar. The +1 words we practiced with were ones that the students provided and could spell on their own. We also used their individual names. A few student were able to complete 5 pages of practice in a large type face and marveled at being able to "type words without looking!" |
