Programming REMEMBER, You are on a computer network, so you are visible to others, including myself, who will be monitoring your activity from the console. Today we used EXCEL to make checkerboard patterns. 1. How many rows are there? 2. How many columns are there? 3. Resize cells. (Click, hold, drag, release) 4. Apply background colors. 5. Copy x Paste (CTRL-C; CTRL-V) 6. Apply borders. 7. Staying oriented to the top of the sheet (CTRL+HOME) CHALLENGE: Make a gingham pattern using GOOGLE SHEETS. This week, the third graders will learn how to layer shapes in PowerPoint and group these shapes together. They will be designing jack o'lanterns. Once the pictures are complete, the students will be playing various Halloween computer games. Happy Halloween!
