They can also choose to show the cards or play by memory. Numbers are read aloud to reinforce understanding.
Carve It combines our pumpkin carving activity and our make a pumpkin activity! Kids can pick a pumpkin, decorate it, carve it and then light it up! There is a kid friendly menu button on the bottom right of the screen. The menu provides options for all the different functionality. Kids are sure to create something spooky this Halloween!
We have been learning animals, as they are crucial to "telling our story". Today we read "El Pajarito Hambriento", a story about animal friends and about sharing. We all also recently went on a hike, so I found this story quite relate able and entertaining. Kindergarten seemed to enjoy it as much as I enjoyed reading it to them! Here is my pre-recorded version of the book to share at home. To piggyback on their trip today to Liberty Mills Farm, this video highlights one of favorite seasonal attractions. We watched the 2nd Grade play last week about the two little pigs and this week we read a Spanish version of the Three Little Pigs. We also completed an illustration activity that the students will take home and share for more practice and reinforcement of the vocabulary. CERDITOS, LOBO, CASA, PAJA, MADERA, PIEDRA, LADRILLO. |
